First, the form factor: OSG replaces the ring-style wearing method with a more ergonomic glove-based design. Second, OSG provides much stronger wireless stability than ordinary Bluetooth ring scanners. Even in complex network environments it can run for long periods without disconnecting, and if a disconnect happens because of distance it can automatically restore the link in the background. Third, OSG offers more than standard ring scanners, including image capture and motion-analysis support.
OSG can connect directly to Android and iOS devices via Bluetooth, and it can also integrate with Linux and Windows computers through a gateway.
